Our Mission Reason Why Purpose Goal

Everyone is sitting on opportunity. But not everyone has the chance to cash it in. It’s our why to give everyone exposure to a fair fight in life.

For some, housing, a good job, financial literacy, and food stability are difficult to achieve. When someone with a tainted record tries to achieve just one of those, they are halted early in the process.

It’s always been our why to remove those barriers so people can have access to the right resources that meet them where they are. This means a chance at proper housing, employment, financial stability, and all-in-all, a second chance at life.

At the core of every significant dream lies the need for fair and accessible opportunities. Our foundation is committed to bridging these gaps, opening doors for those who envision a brighter future.

Rather than merely offering services, we create pathways that lead to essential resources. Our initiatives aim to provide access to housing, employment opportunities, and financial education.

We prioritize empowering those in need of support, especially individuals seeking to rebuild their lives following past difficulties.

Our engagement goes beyond individual assistance; we are actively involved in community outreach projects.

These endeavors are designed to improve and uplift the communities we work with, creating an environment where new beginnings are not just possible, but a tangible reality.

It’s our goal to allow anyone who’s record has been tainted to rise above and start anew.

Together, we're building a better future, one opportunity at a time.

DP is committed to assisting underserved communities by providing opportunities for a brighter future through record cleaning and expungement.

By implementing widespread programs nationwide and forming collaborations with various organizations and professionals, we aim to organize events that offer these individuals access to educational resources, either at a low cost or for free.

These events will facilitate connections with experts for ongoing support, covering areas such as financial literacy, job fairs, and housing assistance, ultimately empowering these communities.

DP will provide overlooked communities with opportunities of hope by cleaning and expunging records. Through extensive programs across the country and via partnerships with organizations and professionals, we will host events that provide these individuals with education, low-cost or free resources, connections to professionals they can lean on throughout the process around financial literacy, job fairs, housing assistance and more to empower these communities.

Our Initiatives

The Give Hope Event

Those with history on their records are blocked from any opportunities that can help them achieve a better quality of life. It is DP’s goal to assist in removing those blockages and open new doors to these communities by providing them with the resources they need.

As our first official event, we are
hosting a National Expungement Event.

The event will provide free expungement and other legal services for affected individuals. We’ll be hearing from local speakers on how to stay positive, inspired, and hopeful.

The event will include a mini job fair to offer opportunities of employment, financial literacy programs to educate individuals on how they can reach a stable financial state, and credit assistance to get them one step closer to housing, or even homeownership.

DP will be partnering with organizations, corporations and partners to host these events for individuals living in overlooked communities.

Exact location is to be determined, but we will target urban cities around the country that have the biggest needed at the time.

But Wait... There's More!

We think of ourselves at DP as a bridge to opportunity. By partnering with local organizations, communities and influential individuals, we’re able to provide access to resources that truly hit home for the individuals we are helping, no matter where they’re located or what their need is.

Housing

We plan to work with urban cities to create better housing opportunities. Whether that means putting a roof over someone’s head or providing them with the necessary stepping stones to achieve homeownership, this is something we believe everyone should have access to. For our housing initiatives, we will partner and collaborate with organizations to create exposure and cross-pollinate in order to help as many individuals in as many areas as possible.

Job Fairs

At our expungement events, we don’t stop when someone’s record is cleared. We guide them to what’s next, and most of the time, that’s steady employment. We will bring in organizations who need employees ASAP, and host mini job fairs to allow our event attendees to start making connections with local businesses. By providing resources like this, DP gives people the hope they need to know their future can be in their control again.

Financial Literacy

When we say ‘empower,’ we mean it. Equipping financially strapped communities with knowledge around their finances will help them turn a huge corner. We plan to partner with companies and financial experts who advocate for financial freedom and wealth.

Food Insecurity

Worrying where one’s next meal will come from is far too common. Clearing the pathway to food and providing access to healthy and fresh options is our priority. We execute by joining forces with local partners and communities to ensure this kind of food access for those living in food deserts.
